Will we find out that noa distant direct descendants from Caesar in future sequels because he lookalike Caesar and does noa have Caesar birthmark and same eyes and maybe noa was adopted by eagle clan?
interesting theory! that's a strong possibility 🍿🍿
It was the original "Band of Brothers" in more ways than one. In the HBO mini-series Band of Brothers, each actor became famous in their own right. Like A Soldier's Story, the series' initial release was met with mixed reviews and was not an acclaimed production. As more actors from the series went on to appear in other productions, the question was asked, "Where did they get their first break?" Well, it was Band of Brothers, this caused a resurgence in the series and with the War on Terror heating up a reflection on the sacrifices veterans from all wars most go through to survive. That said, A Soldier's Story received the same shade. By all accounts, the lack of marketing and the low budget was due to racism, pure and simple. Not to mention ignorance on the part of the audience. The Tuskegee experiment was all but forgotten by the generation that watched the movie, and few Americans, regardless of color, were aware of the participation of Black, Indigenous, and Japanese troops during the war. Although fictional, the background for the characters in the movie was a sampling of what 'real life' Black veterans experienced during their service during WW2. A piece of military history that is ignored and suppressed. There were multiple accounts of race riots, lynchings, unsolved murders, biased court-martial, and inhumane treatment of "colored" POW/prisoners by Nazis and the US military that only now has come to light. My father, paternal grandfather, and two brothers served from WW2 to The Grenada Invasion. All were born under Jim Crow. That said, my oldest brother was the first in our family to be commissioned an officer in the US Army in 1970, and our middle brother served for 20 years during the same timeframe. My father served from 1950-1973, seeing combat from Korea to 'Nam. Two tours and three tours collectively. finally, my grandfather helped liberate the 'camps' in Austria. The uncanny resemblance of MSGT Waters in the movie to my father stunned me. Both men had the same height, build, and complexion and wore pencil-thin mustaches. If that wasn't enough, my father was a Master Sergeant in the US Army and served in the same unit that Water wore on his left sleeve. Thankfully, those were the only similarities. My father was orphaned due to the lynching of his father in 1937. He was raised by his mother and stepfather. Due to his complexion, when he enlisted in the US Army, the [white] NCO told him to claim he was anything 'other' than negro. He told him, "Coloreds don't have it good in the Army, just say you're Cuban." Although he was trying to help my dad in his own way, my father was proud of his heritage. That's not to say he didn't catch shit from white and black troops due to his complexion, but he didn't give them reason to doubt his professionalism or courage. This movie has always resonated with me. Being raised by multi-ethnic black parents as a child in the Southwest was difficult for me in the 1970s. I knew I was black, and my parents knew they were black, but society has its own take. Not being 'black enough' was always in my mind. But my parents never suggested 'we' were anything else but black folks. Although the play and the movie don't suggest it, I believe the casting of a light-skinned 'black' villain was intentional.
i agree with more than a few of your observations. thank you and your family for your service! i also served in the USMC we are all a band of brothers. this is a truly solid movie one of my favorite in fact. im glad you also enjoyed it 🍿🍿🍿
@@ThePopcornpassport No Doubt. "Doc B" 1st ID HHC 1-16 Infantry MECH Med. Evac DUTY FIRST!!! RIP E.D. Case [SF] and James Lee [Rangers]
Looks like a fun movie
I'm hoping so. A jedi murder mystery sounds like a solid show 🍿🍿🍿
When it's going to release?
What's the release date?
It's in your local theater right now 😎. 🍿🍿🍿
Wow seems like an absolute 🔥. Will definitely chk it out
It's worth a look. I ultimately enjoyed it. 🍿🍿🍿
I agree !!! It may also mark a turn on mcu movies
This movie going to blowup mark my words
Too many storyline and the tone of the movie was confusing It couldn't figure out if it wanted to be a comedy or drama or a comedy- drama .One of his worst movies.
I think Cody gets screwed by Seth
that sounds right to me
I spotted it just now like right now watching your reaction that is actually the skull cowboy dropping Eric in the water wow
Do you think it will be worth the watch?
Its getting so much hate... it came out almost 30 years ago!! Believe it or not. I know people who never even heard of the Crow. Im a comic nerd, sorry. Im not necessarily loving wtf is going on here. I'm definitely exploring hardcore crow powers, which was meant to be a mystery... however, i lobe Bills' acting capabilities and more of the eric and shelly storyline. Everythings been shown to us in flashbacks.... she wasn't even targeted in the graphic books. It was a random act of violence. I appreciate they aren't doing that as a woman. Some of us may have experienced stuff that we dont want to see on a big screen. Im ok with how they died. My biggest take is some of your generation doesjt knoe this film or graphic novel. It could open doors.
It’s not just revenge. He’s apparently trying to save her soul. I think the director probably wanted to up the ante, but I like revenge better than damsel in distress.
I just hope when I finally see the movie, I buy the relationship between Eric and Shelley. It’s the whole underpinning of the story and I just don’t see any connection in the trailer. They don’t come across as being in love at all.
The director changed the motivation of this one. Originally, it was a revenge story But in this reimagining, Eric is motivated to save Shelleyʼs soul from Hell, and he is running out of time to do so. A lot of the story is changed in this new version. Many new characters are invented, as the big bad has supernatural powers.
That makes for an interesting story . I dig the direction 🍿🍿🍿
this body bagged all of the sequels in just three little minutes with a sole nod to city of angels for trying. im going to see this.
I'm thinking if the violence and action is good. Then we got something🍿🍿🍿
The sound in the trailer is vivid, helping viewers feel the wildness and mystery of crows.
Thank you🍿🍿🍿
Wow, after seeing the reactions to the trailer, I immediately wanted to watch it
I am hoping for something good...the original is a hard one to follow 🍿🍿🍿
It's great, I've watched Ghostbusters over and over again
me also! Great movie and im hoping that this one is superbig !!!
Ghostbusters has mixed opinions about Afterlife. However, most fans agree that the film is a tribute to the original Ghostbusters films and that it is a fun addition to the franchise.
I'm really hoping for something good with this one 🍿🍿🍿
Wherever you came from? Go back.
Dig it*..
Coolest 🍿🍿🍿
I believe that you are right 👍
Thank you 😎. It was OK not great and I'm hoping for more from Marvel. 🍿🍿🍿

Thank you 🍿🍿🍿
merry christmas!
Thank you christmas 🎄 🎁
One of my faves PERIOD! It would have been more widely known had "names" been casted, but I like the low budget, raw feel. And, it probably would have been reduced to some level of CORNY due to the mass appeal prerequisite.
Exactly!! This is one of my favorite movies. Lee is a great character. 🍿🍿🍿
Great review. And very positive on point. Awesome 👌
Glad you liked it! I dig that you dig the channel! Makes my day 🍿🍿🍿
Best voice on RUclips!
thank you !!! I wish there was some way to get your thought out on the net...lol. Thanks for coming back for more. the marvels and loki finale tonight or in the morning
Thanks for letting me know homie, I was just about to watch that shit
It's more for the kids
Thrawn is supposed to be super intelligent. He couldn't find Ezra in all that time. It seems the writing went off half way through this series. Andor is far superior to this.
I haven't seen it but I think I need to watch Andor. I keep hearing about it. It sounds like a pretty good show 🍿🍿🍿
havent seen a lot of these, will check some of them out thanks.
i enjoy a good horror. Check them out and let me know what you think
Yeah man, you and I are the same. Never watched the cartoon, don’t really care for the series. It has some cool elements but that’s about it.
yea...its mid range for a Star Wars property to me, at best
Great review, loved this movie!
Yes!! Waited too long for the next Denzel master class on 🎭 acting
Like your breakdown I saw it I liked it also the way it ended looking like a potentially good sequel too bad it didn't do to well at the box office blue beetle was good in my opinion
Agreed. They might do another if the money and interest is there 🍿🍿🍿
glad you are doing well and back with videos
Thank you!
Great movie! Thank you for your service, my brother! Much love from Hawai'i
Thank you! This is one of my favorite movies
Hated they cancel this show . I starter crying listening to the song they picked .
Me Too. I was hoping it had an ending closer to the book... But
My jaw was on the ground for the majority of this movie by these action sequences! I can’t even begin to fathom how much work must have gone into them. The movie was so exciting, so fun, and actually had a good story for this finale. Donnie Yen was MVP I just loved this movie so much! Great review!
ya gotta love Donnie🍿🍿🍿
There were a lot of great movies like this that were overlooked in the late 90s, one I would like to recommend is "Thing's to do in Denver when you're Dead" . . another great performance from Walkin in a small role as a paraplegic mob boss. . . if uve never seen it. . its a great watch. . . also a movie titled "City of Industry" . with Harvey Cartel is a really good one to look for. .
Some great movies !🍿🍿🍿
This is an absolutely great and overlooked movie, of my favorite scenes in any movie ever, when Denis Leary tags that guy up with the toaster, brilliant film
In my top ten!! 🍿🍿🍿
